A series of experimental activities focused on studying density and the physical properties of materials through direct observation, measurement, and comparison, developing skills in experimentation, data collection, and interpretation of results.
The kit includes:
– 1 N dynamometer
– 1 multi-material block: a wooden block with a hook and 4 different material surfaces (wood, rubber, Plexiglas, aluminum)
– 3 load blocks: wooden blocks with the same base area but different heights and masses
– 1 block with variable contact surfaces: a block with 4 grooved faces designed to progressively reduce the effective contact area to 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%
