​The Data Controller (hereinafter “Level Up” or the “Data Controller”) collects personal data and determines the methods and means by which it is processed. The Data Controller also authorizes its employees, collaborators and service providers to process your personal data, providing them with instructions on how to process such data in accordance with the applicable regulations and the agreements in place.

2. TRACKING: TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED, PURPOSES, LEGAL BASIS AND PROCESSING METHODS

The cookie tracking section of the website has been developed using the dedicated service provided by Wix.com, Inc., which initially tracks your cookies.

TECHNICAL COOKIES:

 

These are automatically stored on the browsing device because they are necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the website.

The legal basis is the Data Controller’s legitimate interest in transmitting communications over electronic networks and fulfilling the contractual obligation to provide the service requested by the user.

Technical cookies also include, according to the Italian Data Protection Authority:

• browsing or session cookies (e.g. for authentication, IP address, device operating system, authentication location, etc.);

• functionality cookies, which allow users to browse according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language) in order to improve the service provided.

These cookies cannot be disabled, although browser settings can be changed to block their use. In this case, Level Up would not be able to guarantee the proper functioning of our website.

2.2. WEBSITE BROWSING DATA

 

The website has been developed using the dedicated service provided by Wix.com, Inc., which initially collects your personal data and has been specifically appointed for this purpose.

2.3. DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY

 

When you decide to contact us in order to use our services, you voluntarily provide your ordinary personal identification data (your first and last name, the organization you work for, contact details and images), which will be acquired by Level Up in order to provide the service you request in accordance with the terms described in this policy.

This data may be collected and processed through:

• paper and/or electronic media;

• the website, through a dedicated contact form and chat (first and last name and email address). If this information is not provided, it will not be possible to provide the service;

• collaboration agreements;

• events organized in collaboration with Level Up (for example, festivals organized with schools), with the possible subsequent publication and dissemination of such data through printed materials, the company website and social networks.

The purposes of processing vary depending on the service requested and include, by way of example and without limitation:

• provision of the requested service and performance of the relevant agreement or contractual relationship (delivery of training courses; sale of products; activities at educational institutions or training organizations);

• fulfilling legal, administrative and accounting obligations connected with the user’s request for services;

• performance of the contract in accordance with the agreements governing the provision of the service;

3. PLUG-INS AND TOOLS

 

Level Up’s data protection policy does not apply to products, services, applications, websites or social media features provided by third parties and accessible through links provided for informational purposes. By using these links, the user leaves the Data Controller’s website, and personal information may therefore be collected by or transmitted to third parties.

Level Up has no control over third-party websites and provides no guarantees regarding the data protection procedures they use. We encourage users to read and review the privacy policies of all websites they may interact with before authorizing them to collect, process and use their personal data.

 

3.1. YOUTUBE

 

This website uses YouTube integration features provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you interact with a YouTube video, the system stores information relating to the video viewed and links it to your YouTube user profile, if you are logged in.

This information may be processed by YouTube for advertising purposes, market research and/or to design its website to better meet users’ needs. This information may be processed in accordance with YouTube’s privacy policy.

 

3.2. GOOGLE MAPS

 

This website uses Google Maps integration features provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you interact with a Google Maps map within our website, Google stores information relating to the user and links it to their Google user profile, if they are logged in.

This information may be processed by Google for the purposes set out in Google’s privacy policy.

 

3.3. FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM

 

This website uses Facebook and Instagram plug-ins to allow content from our website to be shared through the social networks provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

When a user interacts with the Facebook and Instagram social buttons on our website, Meta stores information relating to the user and links it to their Facebook and Instagram user profiles. This information may be processed by Meta for the purposes set out in Meta’s privacy policy.

5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

The personal data you provide is stored in the company’s records for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes indicated and, where required to comply with contractual, tax or legal obligations, for the period prescribed by applicable local legislation.

 

8. DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS

 

In particular, the data subject may exercise the rights granted under applicable data protection legislation at any time. By way of example, and without limitation:

• Right to information and access: the right to obtain information about the processing of their personal data and to access such data, including a copy of the data being processed.

• Right to rectification: the right to request the modification or completion of data where it is inaccurate or incomplete.

• Right to object: the right to object to processing on grounds relating to the data subject’s particular situation, which must be specified in the request.

• Automated individual decision-making, including profiling: no automated decision-making processes are used.

 

9. COMPLAINTS TO A COMPETENT SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

 

The user has the right to lodge a complaint concerning the processing of their personal data with a supervisory authority.

In Italy, the competent authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, based in Rome (Italy), Piazza di Monte Citorio 121, 00186.
