We have a clear mission:
make science visibile

Kladnee was born from a simple yet radical belief: science becomes truly meaningful when we can make it visible — in the experiences we live, the objects we handle, and the questions that guide us. It is at this intersection between thought and reality that knowledge ceases to be abstract and becomes a shared experience.
Our journey began in 2016, when Giuliano and Tommaso, during their PhDs, began exploring how to bring into schools the body of research, methods and tools developed in the academic world. In 2017, Level Up was born: we entered classrooms, worked with teachers, observed, listened and improved. Every activity took shape at the intersection of research and everyday practice, leading to collaborations with institutions such as CERN in Geneva, the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), Fondazione Agnelli and Fondazione Bruno Kessler, with the aim of transforming cutting-edge scientific research into accessible educational tools.
In 2025, we realized that Level Up no longer fully reflected who we had become. The idea of “taking science education to the next level” had evolved into a more precise mission: helping people see what is invisible. In 2026, we became Kladnee, inspired by Ernst Chladni and his sound figures, where invisible vibrations become matter and form. This is our direction: to make science visible, so that it can be understood, experienced and shared.

Ernst Chladni (1756-1827) was a German mathematician and physicist. His research made it possible to visualize vibrations.
To connect the invisible with the visible.
At Kladnee, we do the same.
